The Serie A champions are keen to retain star striker Morata for next season but are powerless to block a proposed move to Real Madrid.

Real have a £23million buy-back clause in Morata's contract that was inserted when they sold the Spain international to Juve back in 2013.

Bernabeu bosses are reportedly considering buying Morata, 24, and then immediately selling him off to the highest bidder, with Arsenal keen.

But Juve are confident they can convince the striker to snub a transfer.

According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Juve officials will put Zaza up for sale as soon as Morata pledges his future to the club.

Zaza, 24, scored just eight goals for Juve all last season after completing his switch from Sassuolo last summer.

Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is said to be a fan of Zaza and included him in Italy's provisional Euro 2016 training squad.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman, who is close to signing a new two-year contract at the club, reportedly has Zaza down as a forward option for next season.

Saints could lose star striker Graziano Pelle in the summer, with the Daily Mirror claiming Lazio want the 30-year-old.
