Chelsea will do everything in their power to sign Juventus star Paul Pogba. 

That is according to Get French Football News, who claim the Blues are in constant contact with the Serie A side over the status of any potential deal. 

However, incoming boss Antonio Conte, who signed Pogba during his time at Juve, will face competition from the 23-year-old's former employers Manchester United. 

Express Sport understands Pogba is on the four-man shortlist of new United manager Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese boss is understood to have been given £200million to spend on overhauling the squad and will splash a significant portion of that cash by bringing Pogba back to Old Trafford. 

Meanwhile, Chelsea have reportedly been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of Roma star Radja Nainggolan. 

Express Sport understands Nainggolan was one of the first players incoming Chelsea boss Conte told the board he wanted at the club.

But according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the Belgian has already made his mind up about next year.

It is claimed the 28-year-old is happy to stay at Roma for the time being, but if he was to move to the Premier League he would prefer a transfer to Manchester United.

Finally, Chelsea have been told they can sign River Plate defender Emmanuel Mammana for a bargain fee of just £8million, according to reports. 

The 20-year-old is seen as one of the most promising young defenders in world football and has already been capped by Argentina

Mammana's contract expires in 2019 and he has a release clause of around £11m but Goalclaim the Argentine side are willing to accept smaller offers in order to offload him quicker.
